Start with the situation, not the pitch.

A message on LinkedIn is the fastest path. A short description of what is going wrong and what has already been tried is enough to know whether a conversation is worth both our time.

If the matter is time-sensitive — a covenant breach, a filing deadline, a suspected misappropriation, a lender demanding a plan — say so in the first line. Those get looked at the same day.

What is useful to include

  • Company size, ownership structure, and sector.
  • What is actually going wrong, in one or two sentences.
  • What has already been tried, and why it did not hold.
  • The deadline you are working against, if there is one.

Nothing sent through LinkedIn is privileged or confidential. For matters involving potential litigation or an internal investigation, keep the first message high-level and we will route the substance through counsel.
